A September Harvest Supper.

Friday 1st September 

Join us from 7pm onwards for bubbles and an evening of three cosy and comforting courses. Pre booking is essential. Book online or at our tills in store.

~ Starters ~ 

Spring soup served with a herb scone.

Cream cheese, onion and walnut tart served with salad leaves and a tomato and mint salad.  

Smoked Trout paté with salad garnish and a sage and onion granary stick.  

Stuffed mushroom with a herb and tomato sauce on a bed of leaves.  

~ Main Courses ~ 

Casserole of venison with juniper berries with creamed potatoes and a selection of seasonal vegetables and quince jelly.  

Salmon fillet with an orange and watercress sauce, served with new potatoes and a selection of seasonal vegetables.  

Pork tenderloin in a creamy cider sauce, served on a bed of wholegrain mustard mashed potatoes and a selection of seasonal vegetables.  

Beetroot and red onion Tarte Tatin served with new potatoes and endive, orange and walnut salad   

~ Pudding ~ 

Speech House pudding with custard or cream.  

Apple and lemon tart served with custard or cream .  

Strawberry syllabub with lavender biscuit.  

Selection of local cheeses with biscuits and homemade chutney.

Friday 1st September from 7pm. Food will be served from around 7:30pm
